Cool, refreshing, peachy summer sensation-Fresh Peach Punch. Life is “Peachy” Good.
Woo-hoo! Sweet Georgia Peaches are in season! Being a native Georgian, I may be a bit partial to Georgia peaches, but I think we have the sweetest best tasting peaches around. So I got my hands on some of these delicious jewels this past weekend and made my favorite punch.

Come on…what is there not to love about ripe, sweet, juicy, beautiful, fabulous homegrown (Georgia) peaches!
This is my go to summertime drink when I want to cool off with something absolutely delicious ASAP!
I love to make this punch for ladies luncheons, summer teas, baby/bridal showers, cookouts or just to, simply sit on the porch and sip and enjoy the bounty of the South’s finest harvest.

You won’t believe how easy this punch is to make. Basically, only one-step to making this and that’s pureeing the peaches.

Then you just add sugar, lemon juice and water. Add the ginger ale right before serving. I love that you can make this ahead to freeze so come party time, it’s ready and all you have to do is add the ginger ale. You can freeze the peach puree mixture in freezer bags for up to one month. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight or the puree will keep in the refrigerator for two to three days before serving. I love anything that I can do ahead of time to eliminate stress before a party.
To jazz it up a bit, I made some peach and cherry ice cubes. So easy to do and really makes the punch look beautiful. I placed a little piece of the peach with the skin on and one stemmed Maraschino cherry into each cube.

Mix water with about 2 teaspoons of lemon juice and pour over the fruit and freeze until frozen solid. This can be done ahead and frozen for up two months.

Just before serving add fresh mints leaves and extra slices of peaches to the punch.
🍑 How to Make the Perfect Peach Punch
- Choose ripe, juicy peaches: The sweeter and juicier the peach, the better your punch will taste. Avoid hard, underripe peaches — they won’t give the same flavor. On the other hand, peaches that are too soft can turn mushy, so look for that perfect middle ground.
- Southern yellow peaches are best: While white peaches can work, nothing compares to the bold, sweet flavor of ripe yellow Southern peaches in this punch.
- Don’t skip the lemon juice: A little splash of lemon juice keeps your peaches from turning brown and adds just the right amount of brightness to balance the sweetness.
- Keep it chilled: Make sure the peach puree is fully chilled before mixing. A cold base keeps the punch fresh and crisp.
- Add ginger ale last: Always stir in the ginger ale just before serving so your punch stays fizzy and bubbly.

So refreshing and delicious!
Storage Tips
- Make ahead: The peach base can be prepared up to 2 days in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
- Leftovers: Store any leftover punch in a covered pitcher in the fridge for up to 2 days. The fizz will fade, but the flavor will still be delicious.
- Gourmet ice cubes: Freeze cherries, pineapple chunks, or peach slices inside ice cubes to keep the punch cold without watering it down.

For a real Southern touch, add magnolia leaves around your drink table and nestle whole peaches in the center of the leaves. If I’m serving out of a punch bowl, I place the magnolia leaves with the peaches around the punch bowl. It adds such a lovely touch!
Enjoy!
