Southern egg salad sandwiches made with simple ingredients. Creamy, classic, and perfect for lunch, picnics, or easy meals.

There’s nothing fancy about this recipe and that’s exactly why it’s so good.
Sometimes the simplest Southern recipes are the ones we come back to again and again… and this egg salad sandwich is one of those.
There’s just something about a good old-fashioned egg salad sandwich that never goes out of style especially during Masters week here in the South.
This is one of those simple recipes I grew up on. My mama would boil a pot of eggs, mix up a creamy bowl of egg salad, and we’d pile it high on soft white bread for the easiest, most comforting meal.
It’s simple, it’s classic, and when you make it with good ingredients (hello Duke’s Mayonnaise 😉), it’s downright delicious.
Whether you’re serving it alongside pimento cheese for a Masters spread, making a quick lunch, or putting together tea sandwiches for a shower. This one never misses.
