Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- ½ cup boiling water
- 1 tablespoon grated lemon zest
- 1 ½ cups fresh lemon juice (about 8 large lemons)
- 5 cups water
- Garnish: fresh lemon slices and fresh mint leaves
Instructions
- Pour ½ cup boiling water over sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves.
- Stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, Pour into a glass pitcher. Add 5 cups of water and stir.
- Chill. Serve over ice. Garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves. Enjoy!
