Fresh Peach Punch

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh peach puree (about 12 to 16 peaches)
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 3 cups cold water
  • ½ cup fresh lemon juice or the juice of one lemon
  • 4 cups ginger ale, chilled
  • Garnish: Peach slices, fresh mint leaves, frozen peach and cherry ice cubes post for directions on ice cubes)

Instructions

  1. Combine peach puree, sugar, water, and lemon juice. Mix well and chill.
  2. Just before serving add ginger ale. Taste and add more sugar if peaches are not sweet enough.
  3. Add fresh peach slices to punch, mint leaves and ice cubes and garnish the bowl tray with whole peaches, unpeeled and magnolia leaves, if desired.

Notes

Do ahead tip/freeze: Peach puree mixture can be refrigerated for up to 2 days
before serving. Add ginger ale just before serving. The puree mixture can also be frozen for up to 2 months. Thaw over night in the refrigerator and add the ginger ale before serving.
